Understanding the Power of Composite Bonding

Composite bonding is a cosmetic dental procedure that uses tooth coloured resin to enhance the appearance of teeth. This versatile treatment can mend chips, bridge gaps, and even alter the shape and shade of teeth. Unlike other cosmetic procedures, no drilling or filing is required, making it a great alternative to veneers and dental crowns.

"The whole treatment from start to finish was that of total professionalism. I was made to feel relaxed and valued. My comfort was their prime concern. Frequently Asked Questions

How much does composite bonding cost?

You can view the average price of our composite bonding procedure by visiting our fees and prices page. However, your quote will be bespoke to you, based on your scan and your discussion with a specialist. We understand that every smile is unique, to ensure our composite bonding prices reflect that.

Do Forestside use the latest technology?

We certainly do. Our ethos has always been adapting with the times – offering the latest in dental trends and using technology and equipment to match. Our 2D and 3D scanners are state of the art; the absolute best the industry has to offer. We offer quality of procedure and quality of service in equal measure here at Forestside.

Does composite bonding hurt?

Composite bonding is an entirely painless procedure, to the extent that no anaesthesia is required. Better yet, it is often a much quicker process than something like bridges or veneers, meaning you’ll be out of the dentist’s chair in no time at all.

Should I choose composite bonding or veneers?

There are benefits to both. The most critical point to note is that in filing down or drilling the teeth, services such as veneers are irreversible. Comparatively, composite bonding can be removed if there is ample reason to do so.

With that being said, veneers will last for significantly longer before a repeat procedure may be required – up to three times longer on average. This is because veneers are made from a more durable porcelain.

Where are Forestside based?

Our stunning dental practice is located in Dibden Purlieu, which is a gorgeous village on the outskirts of the New Forest. As a result, a large portion of our composite bonding procedures are actioned on those from the Southampton area.

However, we do also regularly cater to those travelling from Winchester, Portsmouth, Bournemouth and have some long standing customers coming from even further than that. Our reputation helps us retain customers for longer.
